About Us

Asfalt Art Gallery was founded in 2011 as an affiliate of Senkron Translation and Language Services, Publishing, Education and Art Inc. Its mission is to nourish a free production environment for art, supporting and creating a space for artists who are in pursuit of new forms of seeing, perceiving and expression.

Its purpose is to be a space not only for exhibiting works but also for discussing subject matters such as aesthetics and philosophy as well as exchanging interdisciplinary ideas.

Asfalt Art Gallery, which is first and foremost energised by artists who are residing and producing in Kadıköy, shall also be embracing local as well as foreign artists.

Asfalt Art Gallery is a “Senkron Translation and Language Services, Publishing, Education and Art LLC” venture.
